In celebration of Eurostar and the Kings Cross area’s close connections to many European destinations, we are delighted to introduce three limited-edition offerings to the menu, inspired by local treats from Belgium, France and the Netherlands.
Take your taste buds on a journey to Brussels – best known for its sweet pastries and chocolate – as Belgium Waffles are added to the menu during January. With caramelized banana, vanilla ice cream, candied pecans and a salted caramel sauce, this dish makes the perfect treat to fight January blues.
February will take us to France, as our French Toast lands in the brasserie. Inspired by the chic Parisienne style and rich foods, this makes a romantic edition to the menu. The final destination in March, Amsterdam, will offer the daring Dutch taste of the Netherlands as the menu welcomes Tulipa; inspired by the country’s iconic flower, the dessert features white chocolate mousse with raspberries, meringue, petals and a warm chocolate sauce.
In honour of the cities, our talented bar team have also created location specific drinks designed to transport you to the chosen destinations. You will find an exclusive list of Belgian beers, such as ‘Delirium Tremens’ and ‘Duvel’, a twist on a classic French 75 inspired by ‘the city of love’ Paris, featuring Tanqueray gin, fresh basil, lemon and sugar, topped with Veuve Clicquot Champagne, and lastly, our ‘Devil’s Advocaat’, with Warnink’s Advocaat, Saliza Amaretto, Koko Kanu, pineapple & cream from Amsterdam.
